The 2010 world cup is well underway and presenting the usual challenges for estate agents around the country. There are basically only ever two teams we need to worry about…Team A who want to see a property whilst a game is on, and Team B who will be glued to the game and won’t answer the phone, let alone the door to let us show someone around!
Nearly time for a ‘Garden Party’
Some time ago we were approached by a group of local Hornsey residents, Hornsey Parkside Residents Association, and Marcus Ballard in particular, who invited us to get involved with this ‘great community garden project’. After spending approximately 2.5 seconds pondering, we announced that Castles would be delighted to support the project, especially as they had done extremely well to secure some of the funding from ‘Haringey Council’ it was a great achievement, and an excellent example of what can be achieved when local people come together.

There is talk of a suspension of hips, but no-one really knows for sure, at the time of typing this, what is going on. It’s all a bit like the Apple iPad was a few weeks ago… We all know it’s coming, but when? Let’s hope they do not delay the launch!
